Hands-on experience in the use of tools for inspection, measuring, and testing such as: Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc. Must be capable of taking measurements using the First Principle.
Capable of reading and understanding Drawings and GD&T.
Knowledge of IS standards for material confirmation and test reports confirmation.
Must have automobile parts application and functional knowledge.
Must have knowledge of various processes such as: Press parts, Welding, Molding, Casting, Machining, and Process Capability Study.
Hands-on experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
Knowledge of Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new products.
Initial sample approval and layout inspection experience.
Knowledge of Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA).
Expertise in problem solving, Root Cause Analysis and CAPA using 8D.
Qualification
Diploma or Engineering Graduate with 10-12 years experience in Automobile industries in Parts Inspection, and Supplier Quality.
