What will I be doing at Ather?

• You will be validating and verifying vehicle ECUs software and cloud communications.
• Develop a test plan from change log/ release notes and execute the test plan.
• Prepare and execute regression test plan on software releases.
• Prepare test setups for various different tests in accordance with safety standards.
• Unit/component, Integration and Vehicle level software testing to qualify the robustness of the software. 
• Build a database of lessons learnt from the execution of software design verification plan (DVP) to improve testing efficiency.
• Analyze test results and prepare test reports.
• Identifying bugs in a design/ product development life cycle.
• Reporting bugs in a comprehensive manner using bug tracking tools.
• Bug fix verification. 
• Working in collaboration with cross-functional teams like Software/ System Intelligence/ Engineering/ Product quality teams to understand hardware and firmware interaction flow within sub systems.
• Exposure of working on software POCs at development testing stage.
• Root cause analysis support to resolve bugs.
• Implement HIL/ SIL (Hardware-In-the-loop/ Software-In-the-loop) methods to improve accuracy and speed of tests.
• Provide timely feedback to design teams on issues observed during execution of DVP tests.

What should I have graduated in?
 

• B.E/B.Tech with Specialization in Computer science/Information technology/Electronics
• 4 - 6 years of experience in automotive software and vehicle-cloud communication testing. 
• Experience in HIL/SIL development and testing is preferable
