What you’ll do at Ather: 

• You own the roadmap for smart and connected products that is sold as a subscription to our customers (AtherConnect)

• You represent the customers and understand their needs and pain points to solve with the goal of providing a superior experience to the customers unmatched by any alternate mobility solution

• You will define the success metrics for your features and will work towards the true north goal of maximizing the kWh powered by Ather

• You will maintain a prioritized backlog, justify the features to be developed and measure the impact

• You will work with the scrum teams in an agile set-up to deliver the roadmap with high quality. When it comes to delivering tangible outcomes, meeting timelines and cost targets, quality expectations, the buck stops with you

Here’s what we are looking for:

• 2-12 years of prior experience in B2C product management. Experience with growth products, social or games will be preferred

• Customer empathy and the ability to understand the “real” problem to solve

• Creativity and strong problem solving through first principles thinking. If you have built any pioneering feature for your industry or problem statement, we would like to hear about it

• Systems thinking and the ability to incorporate multiple factors and trade-offs in cost, complexity and benefits in defining and prioritizing the roadmap, justify business case

• Ability to write articulate and high quality PRDs, design sensibility and communicate the requirements effectively to the engineering teams

• Experience working in agile environments and understanding of SDLC

• Understanding of big data technologies and frameworks such as Hadoop ecosystem, HDFS, Mapreduce, Hive, Spark, etc

• An understanding of big data modeling, different kinds of relational and semi-structured data models (such as graph data model, vector space, etc), data stores and their applications will be a strong plus

• Understanding of architectural paradigms of data platforms

• Strong technical and business acumen

• Experience working in agile environments and understanding of SDLC

• Previous experience of building ML models/ algorithms or knowledge of ML platforms is a plus
