Issues:
1. Battery switching off suddenly
2. Even after full charge, mileage is only 15KM
3. Vehicle stops after 3 points in the battery.
The vehicle was working fine till One year. But after the service after one year, we are facing too many issues with the battery. Sometimes it was switching off intermittently even with full charge and comes to life when we connect the charger and charge it for some time. Other times, it works when we shake the plug connecting to battery and switch off and on the main battery switch.
We gave to service for the above issues on October 10 2023 at PURE EV Service Center, Green Court, Door No- 5A, VD Towers, Jalladampettai Main Rd, Medavakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600100.
Even after the service, we faced the same issue and on November 8th 2023, the battery got switched off and never got started again. We complained to service center immediately and returned the battery for service. But the fix was not provided till now (Nov 25 2023) and they are keep saying that it will take one month. Service centre is also pushing us to buy new 3KWH battery with additional cost around Rs.40,000. So far, we have used only 2,700 KMs and we are unable to use it for long distances as well.
The customer service number provided in your site is also not reachable.
As we still have 3 year warranty for the battery, the response from the customer service is extremely annoying and they are not at all responding properly. We are completely dissatisfied with this response from service centre and the service they provide. We are also unable to find any other Pure EV service center around our locality. This waiting time is not at all acceptable. Even though we heard many complaints about EV vehicles, we trusted Pure EV and bought this vehicle to our dismay. We just paid around Rs. 1 Lakh and bought this vehicle before an year and its tough for us to pay another 40,000 to buy new battery. Even though we are covered under warranty, asking customers to upgrade the battery is not a satisfactory experience with Pure EV. Please take action immediately and help us resolve this issue.
If you are unable to fix this issue, please take back the vehicle and return our money. We will never turn back to buying EV vehicle for atleast another 5 years.
